Younique review

I am usually not a fan of lip stains because of that fact: it stains your lips and I know from trying them before that they do not come off easy, which I suppose is the point. All of that aside I was determined to test this Younique product and to maybe come to love lip stains.

I put some on when I arrived at work at around 8.30am and it looked wonderful. A gorgeous, deep red colour with a hint of pink. You really have to to be so precise whilst applying this and I would probably suggest a lip liner so it doesn’t bleed. I then drank my first cup of green tea and it stayed on and left the smallest amount of residue on the mug, which was good to see as usually with lipsticks, you have to reapply after every drink.

(Of course I had to do a pout face! )

Over the next hour or so it started to make my lips feel a bit dry, however the colour  was still bright and vibrant. I then ate lunch, had another drink and it was at that point I did have to reapply as the inside of my lips looked very strange against the colour of the lip stain.

Excuse the tired looking face! This was the result at the end of the day, after trying to remove it with baby wipes!  It took me a good while to try and take it off but it does eventually.

All in all I would probably use this on a night out but not for every day use, but that is just my opinion. For people who aren’t keen on sticky glosses or transferable lipsticks, this would be the perfect product.
